Ridiculous article, even the most amateur of bodybuilders knows that negative movement is just as effective as positive for building mass, especially when lifting heavy, Zotman culs add the much needed negative to your standard curl and so you get the best of both worlds.

Maybe the author should try lifting heavy instead of complaining about an exercise which is a staple part of any arm workout.

I'm not into BB but I think it's ridiculous that you would make the claim that most bodybuilders achieve their gains through drugs. I know a couple guys who BB and none of them will even eat a cupcake, let alone use steroids or any other drug. I agree that drugs did once pervade the BB scene, but I think now it's more the minority than the majority. As for the Zottman curls, I have tried them but I have no need to do them as I do bicep curls and reverse curls separately and feel there is less stress on my joints that way.

I've never heard of the Zottman Curl and I agree it sounds like nonesense. I also agree that a lot of people in shape are on steroids. People's perceptions of what works and what physique is naturally achievable are completely warped.
