You say fat is a symptom, not a cause. If that&#039;s true, it&#039;s indicative of underlying problems that need resolution, true? And when said problems get treated (level of fitness improves, nutritional balance restored, or something), then the symptom should go away? In that case, we&#039;re shouldn&#039;t be working on fitness or nutrition in order to lose weight, but we end up losing weight as a happy byproduct of improving fitness and dietary choices. The end result is the same, it&#039;s just the motivation the differs. Is that a fair assesment?</description>
